A Penny for Your Thoughts?
“An idea, uncaptured, becomes only a thought.”

What do you do when you find a penny on the floor? What percentage of those pennies are picked up by people to be saved or used later? Some people may not appreciate the value of one penny.
They might say, “It’s only a penny!” So they’ll pick up the penny, throw it into a fountain and wish for something magical to happen. But others who understand that even though the penny is the smallest unit of monetary value, it still maintains its value and can be fully utilized.
They realize if they put this penny in savings, it will increase their net worth. Like Benjamin Franklin says, “A penny saved, is a penny earned.” Our thoughts are just like pennies.
Research says that each person has between 50 & 70 thousand thoughts a day! How many of those thoughts can be worth millions or change millions of peoples lives? Thoughts must be processed and captured.
In fact, many successful people have journals near them to capture any ideas, concepts or solutions that may turn into future opportunities. What they realize is that ideas are only thoughts until they are given proper attention.
You must take time to capture ideas that originate as thoughts. You must treat them as precious gems that have value. You can be one idea away from an invention, one concept away from releasing something special to the world.
Look around you. Do you see any pennies lying around your area? Better yet, look between the cushions on your sofa or in the utility drawer in the kitchen. Have you found any there?
After you have found maybe one or two pennies, think of how many ideas you had that never got deposited into this world. Imagine how many people are still waiting to benefit from your idea when it is captured and competed?
Here’s a challenge! Every time you see a penny, think back on an idea or something you want to do with your life. Collect this inspiration, plan your idea and execute your plan to make the idea a reality.
When you start to complete these ideas, you will find that it gives value and significance to others while you feel a sense of accomplishment.
Just my Perspective!
